Thierry Bolloré the CEO of Groupe Renault and Laurens van den Acker, EVP Corporate Design introduced the All-New Renault Captur at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Since its launch the Captur has been the best-seller in its class, selling 1.5 million cars in over 90 countries. The new Captur allows the driver more versatility, customization and safety features with new body styling. Renault have the global market in their sights, especially China, with the new Captur.
This new generation Captur is based on the Alliance's new modular platform, looking towards future-proofing. With the addition of Renault Easy Connect, their connected services and Easy Link, the new multimedia system. New driving aids, Highway and Traffic Jam companion, whilst adding E-Tech; Renault's Plug-in technology.

The new Captur will be lighter, stronger and safer than the previous model. Renault has added the option of a “Smart Cockpit” which comes with a 9.3” vertical screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have also been incorporated into the infotainment system. LED headlights will now be a standard feature. There will be a range of petrol and diesel engines and the choice of a manual or EDC seven-speed gearbox.
