From October 2019 the Citroën C3 Aircross Compact SUV will be receiving an update focusing on improved efficiency, comfort and specification as well as adding some new colours.
Since it's launch in 2017 the C3 Aircross has won numerous awards, including “Small SUV of the Year” in the Auto Express New Car Awards. With the Aircross having won so many awards already these new updates aim to make it more appealing to customers. 75% of Aircross sales have come in the top-level trim, “Flair” therefore this has been a major focus for the new updates.
From October, the “Flair” trim will add the “Urban Red” interior ambience, as standard, giving a brighter cabin with red detailing. More additions to the cabin are; a folding driver's armrest and seatback pockets.
Citroën are getting in early with a new Euro 6.3 compliant 1.2-Litre PureTech 130 EAT6 automatic powertrain, with the new European emission regulations not coming into effect until 2021. This will be exclusive to the “Flair” trim level.
These new additions complement the already large list of standard equipment of the “Flair” trim, including:
*17-inch ‘4 Ever’ alloy wheels
*Citroën Connect Box Emergency & Assistance System (emergency call system)
*Active Safety Brake
*Colour reversing camera
*Keyless Entry and Start
*Citroën Connect Nav with a three-year subscription to TomTom® Live for real-time traffic updates.
The C3 Aircross will hold on to its eye-catching style with its bi-tone roof, with the addition of three new colours to the range; Pepper Red, Cumulus Grey and Perla Nera Black. Customers can customise their Aircross combining different colours for various parts of the car including; roof bars, fog light surrounds and rear quarter windows.
From October the “Origins” and entry-level “Feel” trim will benefit from new “A-Class” low rolling resistance tyres, increasing efficiency.
Across the whole C3 Aircross range there are some great safety options as standard, such as; Lane Departure Warning and Speed Limit Recognition. Non-standard options include; Citroën's Grip Control® system with Hill Descent Assistance.
The updated C3 Aircross Compact SUV is available to order now, deliveries due to start in late October 2019.
