The new i20's stance has been improved by having a lower roof, wider body and increased length, as well as a longer wheelbase, it also features new 17” alloys.
The front and rear bumpers have been redesigned, as well as the grille. From the side, a wedge shape is emphasised by unique c-pillars, and the signature lighting at the sides links seamlessly to the rear. This new design gives a premium feel and a modern look. Four new colours are available; Intense Blue, Aurora Gray, Aqua Turquoise and Brass. An optional black roof gives the customer another level of customisation.
The top of the range is a 1.0 T-GDi with either 100PS or 120PS, a 48-volt mild hybrid powertrain can be used with this engine, coming as an option on the 100PS version and as standard on the 120PS version. The mild hybrid system helps reduce fuel consumption by 3-4%.
The all-new i20 will make it's debut at the 2020 Geneva International Motor Show next month.
