With Jaguar snapping at the heels of Tesla in the competitive premium electric vehicle sector, the company has released some upgrades to it's popular I-PACE model ahead of lockdown restrictions being lifted.
As part of these upgrades, they have announced a new Pivi Pro infotainment system which is set to mirror how owners engage with their smartphones. It comes with with self-learning navigation that can show you where the nearest available charge station is, how much it will cost and how long it will take to charge - very handy for company car drivers who want to jump into their car and get to appointments quickly.
This adds to already impressive connectivity and infotainment where you get: Dual-modem embedded SIM with 4G data plan, wireless device charging, embedded Spotify, and Bluetooth for two phones at the same time.
Couple this with the optional ClearSight rear-view digital mirror and standard-fit 3D surround camera system and the I-PACE really is at the cutting edge of all electric vehicles on the market.
Adding to these technology upgrades you'll now be able to charge your I-PACE at home or at the office even faster than before. I-PACE now comes with an 11kW on-board charger as standard, enabling customers with access to three-phase electricity supplies to enjoy significantly faster charging: when connected to an 11kW wall box 33 miles* of range (WLTP) per hour can be achieved, while a full charge from empty now takes only 8.6 hours.
At the time of writing, the lowest price I-PACE on CarMoney is £49,950 which works out at £692.03 per month
