CarMoney is a Broker and not a Lender. This means that we offer finance and insurance products from a limited range of lenders. As part of our process, we will introduce you to the lenders we work with and the financial products they offer. We act as the agent for this introduction and not as an independent financial advisor. However, we will ensure that you are aware of the features, benefits and exclusions so that you can be fully informed to make your choice. ​

We will typically receive a commission from the lender which will either be a fixed fee or a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow. If you decide to purchase finance or insurance, we arrange this for you free of charge.
For your reassurance, all of the lenders we work with could pay commission at different rates but the commission we receive does not influence the rate you will pay

APPLICATION PROCESS

Use of Your Information

In order to process your application, it is necessary for us to pass your details to our panel of lenders. The process may involve soft and hard searches of your credit file. A soft search will leave no footprint on your credit file however a hard search will leave a footprint on your credit file which will be visible to other lenders and other credit reference agencies.

An initial assessment of your credit score will determine which lenders receive your information. It is essential that the information we receive from you is accurate and truthful. If you provide false or inaccurate information this may impact your ability to obtain credit. We and other organisations may check your identity to prevent fraud and money laundering.

During this application process, we will send your application to members of our panel who may do a hard search in order to gain the best finance acceptance rate.

BEAT THAT PRICE PROMISE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We must receive written confirmation of the supplying finance provider, of the order form, the terms and invoiced vehicle with price paid. The vehicle must be the same make, model, registration and mileage. We will not match negotiated or special prices. Manufacturer subsidised schemes are not included. The deal is subject to acceptance by lender. This deal may be withdrawn without notice.

 

Recommend a Friend

£200 (£100 for you and £100 for your friend) will be paid to existing customers on our database who refer new customers. 

  1. Cashback will only be paid if your friend successfully finances a car through CarMoney Limited during the period of this promotion. 
  2. Payment will be made once the car has been collected for 30 days and will not take any longer than 60 days. 
  3. The link in the email/sms must be followed in order for us to process this as a Refer a Friend offer. 
  4. You can refer multiple friends and receive multiple payments. 
  5. The payment will be made via BACs and paid into the account used in your CarMoney application. 
  6. Cancelled orders will not qualify for the referral payment 
  7. The  offer is not negotiable or transferable. No other cash alternative or voucher will be provided. 
  8. Payment is at the discretion of CarMoney and we reserve the right to exclude from the promotion anyone it reasonably believes to be in breach of these terms and conditions.

REFUND & CANCELLATION

CANCELLATION

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 permit consumers to cancel a contract after it is has been entered into subject to certain limitations and requirements. Your right to cancel will depend on the type of goods and services you are purchasing from us, and are detailed as follows:

i. Provision of Goods; where goods are ordered at a distance you will have the right; subject to some statutory exclusions, to cancel the contract and return the goods within 14 days, starting the day after the day on which the goods come into your physical possession or the person you ask us to deliver the goods to.

ii. Provision a of service/parts fitted: where the service is ordered at a distance you will have the right to cancel; subject to some statutory exclusions, within 14 days, starting the day after the day on which the contract was made.

If you have the right to cancel then:

i. You will need to send a notice in writing to us stating that you wish to cancel the contract between us and you; and

ii. you will need to send us the notice of cancellation within the stated periods above;

iii. you can send us the notice of cancellation by e-mail or by post marked for the attention of the Managing Partner;

iv. after we receive your notice of cancellation we will refund any money you have paid to us within (number not more than) 30 days.

 

RETURN OF PARTS

On receipt of this notice of cancellation the company will contact you to confirm arrangements for the return of the goods. The cost of collection will be at your expenses and will be limited to a flat fee of £100 + VAT, plus a charge of £5 + VAT per mile for the distance recorded between the Company’s premises and your address as shown on aarouteplanner.com website or another proprietary web based distance calculator of the supplier’s choice. You are required to make the part or vehicle available for collection at a pre-determined date and time.

 

MILEAGE & CONDITION

On collection/delivery the goods must be in the same condition as they were when delivered. This is to say that they must not have suffered any deterioration. Any deterioration recorded at the time of collection will be valued when the goods arrive at the Company’s premises and details of these costs will be notified to you.

 

REFUND

Once safe receipt of the goods has been established by the Company a refund will be processed. This refund will be executed in the same way that payment was made originally by you and will be made 30 days following delivery. Should any of the above conditions fail to be met then the deductions, as specified, will be made from the refund accordingly. The cost of collection will also be deducted.
